All types are encouraged!
Videos should not have a runtime of more than 15 minutes.
The deadline for WVU Student Submissions only
is April 1, 2023
How to submit
Accepted films announced April 5th!
Entry is 100% Free for students!
To submit simply fill out the online entry form below.
It’s as simple as that.
Make sure your work is available for download
(Google drive, Vimeo, Dropbox, etc.) and ensure that the link to your video
is active until the date of the festival.

A wvu student interactive video collage!
We will be making and projecting real time video collages using
your short vids and images
on Friday night, April 14
on the Mountainlair Green!
Simply upload any image or video you have on your phone to the Google drive folder below. Anything goes – videos of your cat, selfies, your friends, your latest bad meal, a night out, your messy room, the parking ticket you got today… anything (except images of violence or porn of course) We’ll show it on the big screen, mashed-up live with everyone else’s!

Info Session & Editing Workshop:
Wednesday, March 8
Come by the Creative Arts Center, room 5018, on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm!
Hosted by advanced Electronic Media students, the WVMSFF editing workshop will provide opportunities for you to come in person with any need for filmmaking guidance, editing assistance, or technical questions answered. Bring in your in-progress films and bounce ideas off the WVMSFF team and your peers.
